It got a lot of heavy daily use and abuse. It gets pet hair that is deep in the carpet.
People are always amazed at how strong and quiet this machine is. When I get my truck washed at a commercial place I bring it home and take this vac to it to get the job done right.
I bought this shop vac back in 2004. It gets used weekly.
Still works like a champ 6 years later. I was building and remodeling houses at the time.
Now it cleans up the House, Truck, Garage and Koi Pond.
I find your customer service navigation difficult, limited and confusing, so if you want to make this right, please contact me. Your inventory sticker says 9-77-25, but on the box it says 9-20-26. I can't afford to wait two more days only to (probably) get the wrong item yet again, so I'll keep this one and try to make it work for my set-up. Hey amazon,I ordered this item, the Fein 9-77-25 Turbo III, but you sent me the newer, more expensive Fein 9-20-26 Turbo III instead. I'm sure my account ID is linked to this message somehow. So I returned it and asked for a replacement. I really needed the older model to balance the suction of the one I already have (notice that the performance characteristics - inches of water displaced - are considerably different). alas, you sent me the wrong one again.
It's not as quiet as when I bought it, but I always wear hearing protection anyway. in addition to using it to clean my shop. The nearest service center is in Cleveland, so I took it to a local motor repair guy. I also bought the basket that fits atop the vacuum where I store the vacuum accessories, sander, etc--very handy.
I bought the older Fein Turbo 11 several years ago because of my tinnitus (ringing in my ears). This is probably the most used machine in my shop. He mostly just blew the dust out. I wanted something quieter than my old Craftsman vacuum.
About a year ago the vacuum seemed to be getting louder. I couldn't do without it. I use it with my sanders, routers, circular saw, biscuit jointer, etc. I bought their rubber adapters and have them attached to several of my tools.
It is amazingly quiet and powerful. I bought this Fein shop vac based on online reviews and information and am very satisfied.
Lots of suction and it is quiet (I don't need to wear hearing protection like I do with my sears vacuum). I have used this machine for almost a year and it is wonderful. I use an Oneida deputy cyclone to capture most of the debris before it makes it to the vacuum - this way the expensive paper bag filter and the HEPA filter last forever. I purchased this vacuum because it had a large diameter hose and was supposed to be quiet. Plus it could be used with a HEPA filter.
